Situation

Wageningen University & Research has multiple locations throughout the city. Many of these locations have a traditional design, with a lot of small, key-operated locker configurations, and deal with frequent user changes. This results in needless administration and hassle.

Solution

With the online locker system by Vecos, Wageningen UR gained many options. Different configurations were applied per location. And monitoring the locker use is easy with the management reports from the system.

Per March 2024, 14 WUR locations are making use of the Vecos Smart Locker System. Almost 28,000 users are connected to the system and they have access to the lockers in these locations. In total, more than 4,000 smart lockers are distributed all over campus.
