The APAC dynamic working market enabled by smart locker technology is rapidly growing. Vecos has been active since 2019 in the Asian market where we cooperate closely in each country with our partner network to serve our Global and Local customers. We have installed multiple projects in each Asian country. We have ambitious targets to significantly expand our customer base with more and more companies committed to modernizing their workplaces. The market is there for the taking and there are no limitations to where we can grow together
Role Description
You will join our Asia team which has high ambitions and is rapidly expanding. You will work closely with the Sales Director Asia, and will be responsible for managing and growing sales at large corporate organizations, across various sectors, with banking and financial, pharmaceutical companies and professional services as a core focus. This role also requires to professionalize our Asian partner network to enable growth with our key target customers. The role is therefore Singapore-centric where the regional decision makers at the clients are often located, and includes developing and executing sales strategies, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key customers, and achieving sales targets.
The Sales Manager will also collaborate closely with Vecos cross-functional teams like the Onboarding manager, Project Engineer, etc. to ensure customer satisfaction and drive business growth. There is a strong focus on direct-to-end user relationships which will require a considerable amount of canvassing. You are a self-starter who is comfortable working independently and yet an absolute team player, confident, headstrong and persistent, but above all fun to work with.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in outbound, direct sales and business development
- Experience in B2B sales, preferably in the technology or workplace solutions industry
- Experience in selling software to corporates is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Results-driven and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or related field
- Knowledge of smart locker technology and flexible workplace solutions is a plus
- Prepared to travel regularly across the Asia region and to the Netherlands for meetings with the team
