Your Role

As Head of Business Applications & IT, you are the strategic and operational owner of Vecos’s application landscape and IT foundation. Your mission is to build a secure, scalable, and future-ready digital ecosystem that empowers our global teams and supports our growth ambitions.

You’ll translate both commercial and operational improvement opportunities into a coherent IT and systems roadmap, ensuring our technology truly enables business performance. With a strong understanding of how business processes and digital solutions interact, you’ll bridge strategy and execution, aligning systems and data to drive efficiency, insight, and scalability.

You combine strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, guiding internal teams and external partners to deliver smart, sustainable, and integrated technology solutions that make Vecos more connected, data-driven, and future-ready.

Your Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and own the IT & Business Applications strategy aligned with Vecos’s business objectives.
• Drive system scalability, integration, and sustainability across the organization.
• Ensure robust IT governance, data security, and compliance.

Operational Excellence

Oversee daily performance and optimization of all business-critical applications and IT infrastructure.

• Lead the improvement and integration of Business Central (Go Live Jan 2026), HubSpot, and FieldBuddy.
• Manage the transition of the SaaS contract register to a cloud-based, scalable platform.
• Expand and professionalize our Power BI / Fabric reporting landscape.
• Coordinate with external IT partners for infrastructure and support operations.
• Manage IT assets, licenses, and access control processes.

People & Collaboration

• Lead and develop the IT & Business Applications domain.
• Collaborate across commercial, delivery, and administrative teams to translate business needs into smart technical solutions.
• Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and learning within the IT domain.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Information Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience managing IT and business applications in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
• Deep understanding of business processes across commercial and operational domains, and the ability to translate them into effective system solutions.
• Proven experience with ERP (preferably Microsoft Business Central), CRM (HubSpot), and field operations systems (e.g., FieldBuddy).
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, data integration, and cloud technologies.
• Experience leading teams and managing external IT vendors or service partners.
• Affinity with automation and data-driven improvement (Power BI / Fabric, Power Automate).
