A key market for us is Germany. We are pole position to surf the wave of dynamic working and we have already landed by delivering our solution to companies like Zalando, EY, KPMG and Accenture. Now we are ready to continue our growth plans.

Who are we looking for?

Due to our expansion in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and eastern Europe, we are looking for an experienced project manager who can coordinate (inter)national and complex projects, which – working in association with colleagues – lead to a successful implementation with the client. As a project manager with Vecos, you are the point of contact with respect to content, deadlines, budgets, people and resources. You are always well informed about what is going on with your projects and your clients, so you can make timely adjustments where needed. You are the captain of the ship, have the ability to take decisive action, are a sounding board for and proactive partner to all internal and external stakeholders and a motivator for the project team. In the process, you are not afraid to sometimes go the extra mile for a client or colleague, and first and foremost face any challenges you encounter with a positive attitude and creativity.

Furthermore, we would like to check off the following job requirements:

• Higher vocational education level or higher with a commercial-technical background
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role (large projects, international, corporate environments)
• Experience in consulting in complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Affinity with technology and ICT
• Full professional proficiency in German and English, any 3^rd language is considered as a plus
• Resident in Germany (working from home and occasionally from our office in the Netherlands)
• Prepared to travel (inter)nationally (mainly DACH, the Netherlands and eastern Europe)

What would be your tasks?

As a project manager, you are at an early stage involved in future projects, by supporting sales colleagues and offering advice when offers and tenders are drawn up. After the sales process, you take over full responsibility of the project. As an expert, you take the lead and guide all those involved to a successful implementation of our system with the client. Is the client satisfied and is the system contributing to their organisation’s success? You may then proceed with the financial settlement. Within this role you will report to the Project Delivery Manager and mainly work close together with the German sales team.
