Who are we looking for?

Our Sales Support team currently consists of 6 top talents. Vecos’ rapid growth comes with the usual pressure and challenges. Therefore, we’re looking to expand our Sales Support team and are seeking a fun colleague to help us further optimise our service. The ideal candidate is energetic, hands-on, experienced and comfortable taking ownership.

  • You’re commercially driven, independent, flexible and have an affinity with technology
  • You can easily switch gears and are accustomed to working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • You’re curious, creative, critical, and accurate, and you are also not afraid to say ‘no.’
  • You’re accustomed to doing business calls to get the information you need and have a pleasant telephone voice
  • Your attitude reflects external and internal customer focus: open, friendly, and in for a laugh

Furthermore, we would like to check off the following job requirements:

  • Higher vocational education level
  • Minimum five years of experience as a sales support employee in a project organisation (preferably in internationally operating SME businesses)
  • Full professional proficiency in Dutch and English
  • Experience with Navision and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (are considered a pre)

What will you be doing?

Your main task is supporting our sales and business development team from initial opportunity through order execution.

You will support the sales team by calculating projects and creating quotations/offers during the acquisition process. When needed, you provide prospects and partners with information and coordinate the incoming leads by phone or internet with the sales team. Your role is to ensure a smooth sales process.

After the sales process, you will handle incoming orders and then transition all related information to our project management colleagues.

In conjunction with our sales team, you will collect all the information necessary to develop a calculation, prepare the quote, and ensure that all project information and documentation are entered into the ERP system. You process incoming orders, and as a ‘linking pin’, you make sure that the project file is transferred entirely to the colleagues of the Project Delivery department.
