Team Vecos is currently over 50 highly driven and energized colleagues in the areas of sales & marketing, R&D and Project Delivery based in the Netherlands. Who are we looking for?

The colleague we are looking for will work within our commercial team and is great at making the first contact. Your job is to open doors and develop opportunities for the sales team. As a sales developer, you follow-up on inbound leads and create lots of new opportunities through your own outbound activities, where you lead the initiatives. Your days consist of making discovery calls with prospects, sending attention grabbing emails, being active on LinkedIn, participating and speaking at (virtual) events – basically whatever it takes to get in touch with potential clients for the Vecos smart locker system. You enjoy setting your own priorities and are well able to keep optimizing your methods to be successful in hitting your target. You are an easy and confident communicator, very outgoing, take lots of initiative and enjoy turning ‘no’ into ‘yes’.

Ambitious? Managing a team is also possible in due time, as the company and teams keep growing – provided of course this fits you and your ambition.

Other stuff that helps:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree is required
  • Affinity with technology in order to be knowledgeable on what we’re selling
  • Excellent language skills in Dutch and English (near native), other languages are a plus
  • Commercially savvy and a great active listener to understand what a customer wants and needs
  • Good presentation skills
  • Social media expertise
  • Team player –skilled to collaborate with both the marketing and sales colleagues within the team
  • Excellent networker
  • Organized, curious, coachable and gifted with lots of resilience and determination (as a Sales Developer you will hear ‘no’ more than the average human)

What you will face when you start?

You will play a central function as accelerator of growth. You will collaborate with both the Marketing and Lead Hunting teams, as well as the Sales & Account management teams. Your main goal is to qualify new sales opportunities for Vecos:

  • Owner of the sales qualified leads pipeline and to drive its conversion – including constantly improving your methods to get in touch with people
  • Following up and qualifying inbound leads
  • Identifying and setting up – together with the marketing team – outbound lead generation activities
  • Attend and speak at trade shows and (virtual) conferences
  • You will be guided by the Marketing Director.
